Invensys Software Systems, a division of Invensys plc, recently announced a major reoarganization of its business operating units and related management structure. The new Invensys Software Systems organization includes two new focused product/technology/service groups and four new regional solution delivery businesses. One of the new product groups will develop automation and real-time information for customers across the process, discrete and hybrid industries. The group comprises both Wonderware and Invensys Process Systems, which includes Triconex, Foxboro I/A Series Systems, Foxboro Measurement and Instrumentation, Invensys Performance Solutions and Global Customer Support. A new APV Products Group will supply process and automation equipment for the food and beverages industries.
