Basic techniques are explored in Ceramics Handbuilding: Pinch and Coil Construction, and the DVD also shows simple tools and clays. Wedging is demonstrated, as well as the creation of a pinch pot and a box with a lid made from two joined pinch pots. Making coils and constructing a coil bowl and a coil coffee cup are shown, as well as decorating and firing.
