Wm. M. Meyer & Sons, Inc.: Pneumatic Screw Pump Brochure (posted 7/7/08)

A new 12-page brochure is now available that details the features and specifications of the Meyer® pneumatic screw pump, a heavy-duty dry materials injection pump designed to feed dry pulverized material into a pneumatic conveying line. The screw pump can handle highly abrasive, friable or very fine powders that wear out other dilute-phase feeders. Unlike rotary airlocks that require tight clearances to seal against conveying air, the screw pump uses the material to form the seal.

Benefits include increased conveying rates with less air; no blowback, even when running empty; increased wear-resistance to abrasive materials; low profile; longer bearing life with fewer system shutdowns; and overall reduced operating and maintenance costs.

To request a copy of the brochure, call (847) 918-0111, ext. 231, fax (847) 918-8183 or visit www.wmwmeyer.com.
