The 2010 Toledo Glass & Ceramic Award will be presented to Michael Greenman, executive director of the Glass Manufacturing Industry Council, on April 22, 2010. The awards presentation will be held at The Toledo Club by the Michigan/NW Ohio Section of the American Ceramic Society; a social hour will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner and the award ceremony.

Greenman is receiving the award in recognition of his outstanding service and leadership in promoting glass as a remarkable material and bringing together all segments of the glass industry, government and universities to cooperate and combine resources to improve the industry.
