With the integration of the Monofrax business into its worldwide sales network in 2007, RHI has significantly strengthened its position as a full-line supplier in the growing glass market and is now reportedly the largest independent producer of fused cast refractory products. As a result of the integration, RHI will strengthen its sales network in the U.S. to offer a complete range of refractories to its customers.

From its global manufacturing locations, RHI will offer the whole range of refractories for the U.S. glass market, including fused cast materials and basic and non-basic products. In addition, RHI offers refractory expertise with a long tradition for the benefit of customers in the flat, container and special glass segments.
