DEGUSSA PARENT COMPANY RAG CHANGES STRUCTURE, NAME
RAG recently split its industrial and coal mining operations and announced a name change to Evonik Industries AG, which will focus on the chemicals, energy and real estate businesses. ENRG RECEIVES NYSERDA CONTRACT
ENrG Inc. has been awarded a $250,000 contract by the New York State Energy and Development Authority (NYSERDA) to develop a ceramic component for removing carbon dioxide from exhaust gases created by coal-burning power plants. The award is in support of a $4.7 million Department of Energy contract awarded to Praxair, Inc. to develop a system for removing carbon dioxide emissions at such plants. FULL STORY
