Customized Solutions
Refractories manufacturers in search of special fused minerals often seek a specialist with the skills and equipment to test out new fused mineral products and concepts. Many manufacturers don't have the know-how or the furnaces to run their experiments and don't want to invest in costly capital equipment for just a few product trials with uncertain outcomes. Learn about Custom Fusion & Milling in this article from our March issue.

Survey Says!
Our CyberPoll for last week asked respondents if they believed that their business' sales and ROI/profitability levels would ever return to pre-recession levels. The majority of respondents answered in the affirmative, with optimism slightly higher for sales levels (77% vs. 73% for ROI/profitability). Participants shared a number of interesting comments, such as: "This is not a recession about manufacturing but about the financial sector. Global manufacturing was healthy and strong and will be again. We have fought long and hard to get to this point and are as lean as we can get; therefore, we will survive and get back on track long before the financial institutions and union-tormented industries." Follow this link to view more comments. This week's CyberPoll is taking a look at spending levels for growth initiatives. Be sure to check it out (it's in the green box to the left)!
