Survey Says!
Last week's CI CyberNews CyberPoll asked if companies used outsourcing for various business functions. A little more than half (54%) of respondents indicated that their companies did outsource certain services. Of those, participants reported outsourcing IT (52%), payroll (48%), R&D (29%) and medical/dental/benefits administration (24%). Adding that their company also outsources certain welding needs, one respondent said, "Outsourcing is great for us because our company is very small."
