Survey Says!
The CyberPoll last week focused on the proposed government health insurance plan. Most respondents (79.2%) do not think that the government plan can coexist with private insurance, and a similar number (77.4%) are not in favor of the government plan. One reader commented, "Even those employees with health insurance are at risk. If you lose your job, for example, your private insurance excludes coexisting conditions, which means you have no coverage for the condition that is probably most important to you. The system is broken." Another said, "Our government should keep its hands out of corporate America! First the banks, then the car companies and now the medical profession. All of this is heading for disaster. True, healthcare costs are out of control, but putting the government in charge is not the answer!!" Follow this link to view more reader comments.
