Survey Says!
Last week's CyberPoll focused on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Most of the respondents (75%) are familiar with IFRS, while only half (50%) think that the U.S. should adopt the standards. One reader commented, "The United States of America is a sovereign nation and should remain a sovereign nation. Adaptation of foreign accounting rules removes the representation of the people being governed and puts too much power in foreign hands." Another said, "We need to establish some financial credibility with the rest of the world. The only people who would not want to do this must have something to hide."  Follow this link to view more reader comments.
