Survey Says!
In last week's CyberPoll, we asked you to share the challenges your businesses are facing in terms of energy costs, health care costs and fair trade impediments. Here are some of the responses. Energy costs: "Naturally, the pending cap and trade legislation has us nervous." Health care costs: "We have been able to keep insurance costs almost flat for the past three years by shopping around. We will have to see what happens next year." Fair trade impediments: "In an effort to take advantage of 'stimulus' money, we are moving some foreign production to the U.S. But there are tooling-up costs (and time), learning curves, and higher costs in general (labor, energy, taxes) that will
make these products more expensive for the consumer, and we will lose some of our competitive edge and reputation." Follow this link to view more reader comments. |
