FocusOn: Air Circulation Furnace
Nabertherm's N 150/02 CDB electrically heated air circulation furnace is designed for the catalytic debinding of PIM. The polyoxymethylene of the binder is removed from the green compact and chemically decomposed under the influence of the nitric acid. Nitrogen carrier gas removes exhaust and is burnt by the gas-heated exhaust torch.
Unsurpassed safety features include safety control via the PLC with automatic chamber purge in the event of any atmosphere leakage or system failure, door sealing with a monitored nitrogen atmosphere, and an automatic double-locking door, as well as redundant flow controllers for automatic gas supply.
For more information, call (302) 322-3665, e-mail contact@nabertherm-usa.com or visit www.nabertherm.com.

| Survey Says!
In last week's CyberPoll, we asked you to share the challenges your businesses are facing in terms of personnel, raw materials and regulations. Here are some of your responses. Personnel: "Layoffs have really put a damper on our capability." Raw materials: "With mergers and acquisitions, we have fewer choices as to who we buy our raw materials from. Increased prices also hurt the bottom line." Regulations: "Our local air quality agency has told us that they are hiring more inspectors whose sole job will be to generate revenue. They are also going to raise all fees and fines to make the agency more profitable.
