Survey Says!

In last week's CyberPoll, we asked if the government's recent jobs report, which showed employers adding 290,000 jobs in April, was a good indicator of an improving economy. Here's a breakdown of reader responses: no, it's just a move in the right direction: 43.4%; no, the unemployment rate is more critical: 23.3%; yes: 23.3%; and no, new jobs is no longer a key indicator: 10.0%. One reader commented, "Since most of the new jobs are government jobs, it is no help. We need growth in the private sector." Please follow this link to see additional reader comments or to post your thoughts on this topic.
