Survey Says!
Last week's CyberPoll asked, "What should be Job One for the government?" Here's a breakdown of participants' responses: Jobs, 56%; Other, 32%; Energy, 8%; Health insurance, 4%; Housing market, 0%; and Bailout businesses, 0%. One reader commented, "Without jobs, the country is at a standstill or going in reverse." Another said, "Get out of all things the private sector can handle and win the war!!!!!" Another commented, "Provide strong National Security. All other listed items, except energy, are private sector issues. Federal government should not be actively involved in such issues."
