Leica Microsystems: Laboratory Microscope
May 15, 2001
The new Leica DM LA microscope is the latest addition to the company's DM L series of laboratory microscopes. The DM LA addresses two key requirements of routine and research microscopy -- it can be integrated into automated routines and it is extremely user friendly, due to the flexible and ergonomic layout of all controls. The unit offers the automation of a large research microscope on a small, affordable platform. All important microscope functions, such as magnification changes, illumination intensity, aperture settings, nosepiece control, focusing and Z axis focus, are motorized and can be microprocessor controlled.
