sp3 Inc. has acquired the assets and operations of Precision Machine Service, Inc., (PMS) a manufacturer of polycrystalline diamond and cubic boron nitride cutting tools, and the Ultra-Mill(TM) family of milling cutters. Combined with sp3's earlier acquisition of CMC/Canada, now called sp3L, the integration of PMS solidifies the company's strategy of becoming the only company in the world designing, manufacturing, applying and distributing the three major diamond cutting tool technologies available in the world today. The broad range of products and technologies positions sp3 to better serve customers by being able to supply the highest value solutions from a wide range of products for cutting non-ferrous metals and non-metallic materials.
