Ionic Fusion Corp: Proprietary Process

Ionic Fusion Corp.'s proprietary ionic fusion process impregnates refractory materials into substrates. The process uses state-of-the-art plasma deposition and has the ability to ionically impregnate rigid or flexible substrate surfaces with a harder material. These materials bond and strengthen the substrate material against wear. In many applications, the process optimizes the substrate material and type of wear resistance required. Temperatures, pressures, kinetic energies of the substrate surface, and the impinging ions can be adjusted to achieve the optimum results for the required application.
