Dentsply Appoints Jellison Senior Vice President

Gary K. Kunkle, Jr., president and chief operating officer of DENTSPLY International Inc., recently announced the appointment of William R. Jellison as senior vice president responsible for the company's Professional Division; its Asian operations; and its worldwide endodontic franchise, comprising the Tulsa Dental, Maillefer and VDW Divisions. Jellison is currently the company's senior vice president and CFO, and his new responsibilities will become effective on December 1, 2002. He joined DENTSPLY in 1998. As senior vice president and CFO, he has been responsible for all areas of corporate finance, including the corporate controller, internal audit, tax and treasury functions, as well as the information technology group. Jellison came to DENTSPLY following a successful 18?year career with the Donnelly Corp. of Holland, Mich., where he most recently served as vice president of finance. He earned his bachelor's of arts degree in business administration from Hope College in Holland, Mich.
