Thermo ARL has introduced a new generation of sequential XRF spectrometers, the ARL Advant'x Series. Built around the company's goniometer technology, this family consists of three products engineered with a modular approach. They can be used to exploit the full potential of wavelength dispersive XRF for the analysis of materials in cement and mining, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, ceramics, refractories, glass making, inorganic chemicals, petrochemicals, polymers and environment-related application areas. The systems are designed to handle a large variety of samples, and all three instruments integrate the latest technology improvements in X-ray tubes, sample handling systems, software facilities, dedicated calibrations and powerful "standard-less" analysis packages.
