Ceramic Services, Inc. recently announced the availability of a new electric test kiln. The kiln is built with a 3-in. insulating brick lining backed up with 1 in. of ceramic fiber encased in an annealed stainless steel case. The top and bottom of the kiln are constructed of 4-in.-thick ceramic fiberboard for better insulation and longer life. The kiln is provided with a variety of control options, including a separate programmable control for each kiln section, and is available in two sizes with inside dimensions of 11 x 20 x 18 in. and 18 x 30 x 36 in.
