Microfluidics: Cleaning Feature for Microfluidizer Processors
April 2, 2003
The new Ultra-Clean-in-Place (UCIP) feature from Microfluidics is now available as an option or retrofit for the company's M-210, M-610 and M-700 series Microfluidizer(R) processors. This new feature saves time by increasing the velocities of cleaning solutions through the processor's interaction chamber, re-routing the solution upstream and downstream of the chamber, and then flushing the interaction chamber a second time. Bypass valves are manually or computer activated, and the entire cleaning process requires no disassembly.
