World Academy of Ceramics Appoints New Members

Ten new professional members (academicians) have been appointed during the ninth election to the World Academy of Ceramics (2002/2003 run). New members are: Vladimir N. Antsiferov of Perm State Technical University, Russia; Sadame Asano, Ph.D., of The Technical Association of Refractories, Tokyo, Japan; Inna P. Borovinskaya of the Institute of Structural Macrokinetics and Materials Science, Moscow, Russia; Sang-Hee Cho of Kyungpook National University, Daegu, Korea; Agustin Escardino of Jaume I University, Castellon, Spain; Jerzy Lis of the University of Mining & Metallurgy, Krakow, Poland; Elson Longo of the University of Sao Carlos, Sao Paulo, Brazil; Bin Nagai, Ph.D., of The Technical Association of Refractories, Tokyo, Japan; Mrityunjay Singh, Ph.D., of the NASA Glenn Research Center, Cleveland, Ohio; and Eiichi Yasuda of the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Saitama, Japan.
