Carbolite: New Tube Furnaces

A new range of GTF tube furnaces from Carbolite features a maximum operating temperature of 1200C and can accept interchangeable work tubes up to 150 mm in diameter. The range includes equipment with seven heated lengths from 300 to 1200 mm in both horizontal and vertical versions, with either single- or three-zone control. The multi-zone models provide particularly good temperature uniformity or can be used to create a temperature gradient. The furnaces are heated by semi-embedded, free-radiating elements in vacuum-formed insulation modules, which provide good support and increase the working life of the elements. Removable tube adaptors at each end of the furnaces allow them to be easily used with different sizes of work tube, up to 150 mm in diameter.
