ZIRCAR Products, Inc.: Ceramic Powder Paper Type CPP
July 29, 2002
ZIRCAR Products, Inc. recently announced the introduction of its new ceramic powder paper type CPP, a unique solution to many high-temperature sintering separation problems. CPP is a tissue paper-like combination of a "single layer" of ceramic powders uniformly dispersed within an organic carrier. Once heated, CPP's ceramic powder is left evenly distributed wherever it is needed. CPP is currently being produced in compositions of Al2O3, MgO and other ceramic formulations. High-quality raw materials are brought together in a new process capable of near continuous production of ceramic powder paper in thicknesses down to 0.025 mm (0.001 in.). CPP exhibits an average area weight of close to 34 g/m2 (3.2 g/ft2), and LOI is 30%.
