Micromeritics Names Alavosus Vice President of Marketing

Micromeritics recently announced that Timothy J. Alavosus, Ph.D., has assumed the responsibilities of vice president of marketing at the company's corporate headquarters in Norcross (Atlanta), Ga. Alavosus has over 14 years of combined experience in marketing and product management in the life science and laboratory instrumentation industries, and will direct Micromeritics' sales, marketing, service and applications efforts worldwide. "I am very excited about the opportunity presented to me by Micromeritics," said Alavosus. "The company has been a leader in the particle characterization business for over 40 years, and with our new market-driven corporate culture, we will be developing new products, services and strategic business alliances that will help us to continue to pioneer the next generation of the industry."
