PSC Revamps its Testing Facility
March 27, 2002
PSC, Inc. has updated its radio frequency (RF) heating and drying laboratory to assist in product feasibility studies. The lab, which features three RF systems -- parallel plate, stray-field and staggered stray field, enables PSC to provide process solutions for individual customer applications. Upgraded convection and infrared heating systems provide the ability to simulate perfect RF combination dryers using the oven expertise of PSC's parent, C.A. Litzler Co., Inc. With the latest control, monitoring and data acquisition systems, including fiber optic temperature sensors, testing provides accurate information for scale-up to production processes.
