Haiku Tech, Inc. has announced that dmc2 Degussa Metals Catalysts Cerdec AG has selected Keko Equipment to supply equipment for its new, multi-million dollar R&D center for multilayer materials in Uden, the Netherlands. Equipment from Keko is reportedly used extensively in the center's production line for the evaluation of dielectric powders and metal pastes for ceramic multilayer capacitor applications using base metal and ultra-low fire technology. "The dmc2 team was particularly impressed with the Keko Equipment PAL 9 printer/stacker, which has the capability to go to extremely thin layer thicknesses, as low as 3 micrometers," said Roderik Hoppener, president of Haiku Tech.
