H.C. Starck GmbH & Co. KG has completed its acquisition of CSM Holding, Inc. The CSM Group is a leading manufacturing of molybdenum and tungsten mill products as well as machined components and fabrications made from alloys of other refractory metals. Employing 500 people worldwide and with total sales of $110 million, the CSM Group offers many opportunities for synergies and for expansion of H.C. Starck's global activities. For example, H.C. Starck expects a better utilization of production capacities in the case of tantalum, tungsten and molybdenum, which will lead to an increase in output and improved service with reduced delivery times.
