This company offers the Belt Tamer, a new device for training badly behaved conveyor belts. The traditional solution requires the belt to hit the side guide to move the trainer. The Belt Tamer incorporates a diagonal pivot, which enables the trainer to tilt in both planes simultaneously up and down as well as left and right. It responds instantaneously to any imbalance caused by an off-centered belt and doesn’t require damaging side guides. According to the company, this device ensures that the belt will run to the high side to the correct line.
