The Lenox/Pultz family of high-temperature video camera systems from Lenox Instrument Co., Inc. gives plant engineers and operators clear, high-resolution views of burner flames, material alignment and movement, and other process conditions in glass manufacturing applications. These units are designed to be mounted either directly through the wall, flush with the exterior wall of a glass furnace or other combustion chamber, or for pan-and-tilt control. Lenox/Pultz camera systems, available with a stainless steel or aluminum housing, are widely used in applications such as the optimization of burner flame geometry and the monitoring of material mix, melting point, bubbler operation, batch pile and formation patterns, and refractory wear.
