CeramTec North America has completed installation of a new double disc grinding process that ranks among the most advanced equipment in the world for the production of ultra-thin ceramic substrate technology. The new equipment, valued at more than $500,000, enhances CeramTec's ability to manufacture thin ceramic substrates that deliver exceptional flatness, parallelism and finish specifications. The investment reflects the company's commitment to meeting customer needs for custom-engineered technical ceramic solutions. "We are constantly pushing the envelope in an effort to maximize productivity and quality," said Curtis Cristini, who manages production at CeramTec's North American headquarters. "We will continue to advance our capabilities to support the marketplace."
