John Crowe, president of the Fluid Systems Division of Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics Corp., has taken on the additional responsibility of being president of the company's Bearing & Seal Technology Division. He succeeds Ged Walsh, who is retiring from the company. Crowe now has general worldwide management responsibility for both divisions, as well as for building the Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics business in Asia. He is also a member of the management committee of Saint-Gobain Corp., the holding company for all Saint-Gobain businesses in the U.S. and Canada. Crowe has a bachelor's of science degree in chemical engineering from Clarkson University, and a master's of business administration degree from Boston College.
