Emerys to Raise Prices of Clays in Europe
November 27, 2003
Imerys recently announced that the prices of its clay products for the ceramic markets in Europe will increase, effective January 1, 2004. The amount of the change will vary by product, with increases of between 3% and 10% in most instances. The increase is necessary to offset rising social, energy and transport costs at the company's operations across Europe. Imerys continues to invest in increasing productivity to minimize the long-term implications of these cost increases.
