Retsch: New Ultra Centrifugal Mill
July 30, 2003
The new Ultra Centrifugal Mill ZM 200 from Retsch, Inc. is the perfect successor to the company's model ZM 100. The new mill's 3-phase powerdrive, with an optimally matched frequency converter, results in significantly higher torque and throughput when compared to other high-speed rotor mills. Combined with an automatic cover closure and dust protection, the ZM 200 is ideal for all standard and heavy-duty grinding operations to reduce dry, medium-hard samples to powders as fine as 40 microns. Additional new features include speed selection between 6000 and 18,000 rpm, convenient parameter setting via display, and optional accessories such as the tools for small quantities and slotted sieves for plastics. The new mill will be available in September 2003.
