Hartstone Pottery celebrated its grand reopening last month at its facility in Zanesville, Ohio. The pottery, which had been slated to close this summer, was purchased in June by six partners, including Clayfish LLC and The Original Hartstone Pottery Inc. (The Original Hartstone Pottery group was incorporated specifically to become a partner in this venture.) The grand reopening festivities included free tours of the pottery, which enabled visitors to see how items are created by on-site craftspeople, and special sales. The newly revitalized company is also planning a redesign of its website. New features will include an online store with web-only specials, information on new designs, a Hartstone trivia section, and details on the company's collectors clubs.
