Tecnargilla to Feature Ceramic Workshop (6/6/06)

Ceramic Workshop, the collection of exhibits first launched in 2002 with the aim of pushing back the horizons of ceramic applications in homes and cities of the future, will return to Rimini, Italy, September 28-October 2 this year at Tecnargilla 2006, the 20th International Exhibition of Technologies and Supplies for the Ceramic and Brick Industries organized by Rimini Fiera SpA in cooperation with Acimac. The first section is the proposals area coordinated by the European Design Institute (IED) and featuring a competition in which young international designers will submit projects based on the common theme of ceramic. The designers will adapt the intrinsic characteristics of this multifunctional material to the widest range of applications, including the food, music, automotive and town planning sectors.
