A new four-page, four-color brochure describing the capabilities and services of Longevity Coatings is available for industry professionals. The new literature uses product and equipment photographs to showcase the company’s expertise in applying protective coatings to industrial machine and wear parts.

Serving Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey, the company employs computer-programmed equipment for the precision application of carbide, ceramic and metal coatings using high-velocity oxygen fuel (HVOF), plasma coatings, twin wire arc, combustion flame spraying, and fused coating processes. Longevity’s facility, located near Lehigh Valley International Airport, is fully equipped for handling completely manufactured, coated and ground components, including parts in excess of 18 ft long with diameters of 50 in.

Thermal spray coatings are gaining acceptance as a means for improving part performance, lengthening component life, restoring failing parts, improving the properties of parts, reducing downtime and costs, and improving productivity. In recent years, the creative use of thermal spray coatings has helped companies achieve a competitive edge in their respective industries. With the imposition of a government ban on hexavalent chrome, flame spray coatings have been found to be a safe, effective and environmentally friendly alternative to chrome plating.
