The National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) recently announced the appointment of Jim Olson as its new assistant executive director. In his new role, Olson will be responsible for growing the association’s Membership and Training & Education programs.

Olson brings nearly three decades of sales and management experience working within the tile distribution sector. During those years, Olson worked out of the Minneapolis/St.Paul area, covering Minnesota, Wisconsin, and North and South Dakota. He has extensive experience working with contracting companies, floor-covering dealers, builders, general contractors, architects and designers. He plans to use this experience to develop key programs in all major markets within the 12 NTCA-designated geographic regions, and will work with NTCA regional directors, sectional directors, board and executive officers, as well as members, to ensure the association’s continued growth and development.

The association’s website is located at www.tile-assn.com.
