von Boch to Head Marketing for Villeroy & Boch Bath and Wellness (posted 3/9/09)

Villeroy & Boch recently announced the promotion of Constantin von Boch to marketing director of the Americas for its Bath and Wellness division. Representing the ninth generation of von Boch leadership within the company, he will oversee marketing and communications programs, act as a company spokesperson and lead strategic brand development across the nation.

“We are pleased to have von Boch spearhead our marketing efforts in the United States,” said Stephen C. Kamp, general manager of the U.S. Bath and Wellness division. “Constantin not only brings a wealth of experience, but as a member of the von Boch family, he brings a unique perspective to his position. We feel he is a great asset to the Villeroy & Boch Bath and Wellness team.”

In his new role, von Boch will take on a number of initiatives to expand the brand experience within the distribution network, as well as implement new communications tools for both internal and external audiences. “I look forward to my new role within the Bath and Wellness division,” said von Boch. “I hope to be instrumental in further growing the Villeroy & Boch brand across the nation. My goal is to deliver effective marketing and communications solutions to expand the company’s reach and presence across diverse markets.”

Before joining Villeroy & Boch, von Boch worked for Riensch & Held, a housewares company in Germany. He later joined Villeroy & Boch in 2004 in the central controlling department before advancing through a multitude of project management and marketing positions. He most recently served as marketing director for the company’s Mexico-based subsidiary. Formally educated at the University of Bath, England, von Boch graduated with a degree in international management and modern languages. In addition, he holds a master’s of business administration degree in luxury brand management from the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Economiqes et Commerciales (ESSEC) in Paris.
