Sia Named Director of New Business Development for Pred (posted 7/21/09)

Pred Materials International, Inc. has appointed Evangeline Wang Sia director of New Business Development. She will be based in the firm’s New York, N.Y., office and will work with both international and U.S. customers and suppliers.

Sia received a materials science degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s of business administration degree from Columbia University. With over 10 years of Wall Street experience as an investment analyst, she is also fluent in Mandarin, Taiwanese and English. In her new position, Sia will focus on opportunities in advanced energy and other emerging materials markets.

Pred Materials International specializes in materials and equipment for the development and manufacture of advanced batteries, fuel cells and solar cells. The firm also supplies ceramic powders used in a variety of industrial, aerospace and medical applications.
