NSL Names Holland Chief Metallurgist (posted 4/27/09)

NSL Names Holland Chief Metallurgist (posted 4/27/09) NSL Analytical announced that Kevin Holland has joined the company as chief metallurgist. Holland brings over 25 years of experience in metallurgical testing and analysis to the position, most recently as chief engineer of Materials Analytical Services at Tenneco Inc. In these positions, he developed and maintained materials and process specifications, implemented Six Sigma methodologies to qualify material and component suppliers in low-cost countries, and conducted failure analysis of components.

As chief metallurgist, Holland will oversee the integration of the recently acquired Central Testing Labs into NSL. He will guide the expansion of NSL capabilities in tensile, mechanical and metallurgical testing.

“NSL is committed to quality and delivering results you can rely on,” said Larry Somrack, president. “The addition of Kevin to lead NSL's metallurgical and mechanical testing program will enhance our ability to provide ‘one-stop’ service to our customers.”
