MacIntosh Receives Blasch Achievement Award

Brian MacIntosh has received the 2010 Blasch Precision Ceramics Achievement Award, which is given to the employee who has best exemplified achievement of personal and company-wide goals.  MacIntosh contributed to improvements in plant efficiencies leading to improved profitability. In addition, he played a leadership role in Blasch’s new 18500-sq-ft plant expansion to better serve customers’ needs.

MacIntosh is a plant and process engineer with 25 years of progressive performance and diverse industry experience throughout the Capital District. His strengths include staff leadership/training; development and implementation of conceptual layouts; component identification/selection and investigation of new materials;, design, fabrication, and assembly of mechanical and electronic components; systems installation; and technical support of systems and equipment. Skilled in TQM, MacIntosh is a certified ISO 9000 Internal Auditor.

He is responsible for plant and process upgrades and improvements, including facility expansion, maintenance and increasing production efficiencies.
