The Cyber Monday phenomenon boosted pottery site traffic this week.

For the past several years, Cyber Monday has been increasing in popularity among online retailers and shoppers. Many businesses offer special deals and discounts on the Monday after Thanksgiving for the biggest online shopping day of the year. This year, Ellis Pottery opened its online store just in time for Cyber Monday.

The business, which is based in Bossier City, La., wanted to increase sales by offering their products to a broader market. Making their online inventory accessible to anyone in America was the best way to do that. By 2 p.m. on Cyber Monday, the traffic on the site was already setting a record.

The company, which sells other home decor and gardening products in addition to pottery, really focuses on their holiday displays in the store. For that reason, they posted pictures of the seasonal departments and items on the website so that the atmosphere can be experienced by online visitors as well. For more information, visit
