Innovative Ceramic Corp. has introduced 44W402 DuraFire™ marking ink, a high-temperature ink designed for marking high-aluminum refractories and ceramic components. Ceramic products used in high-temperature applications are limited in the use of product identification and decoration. While standard product markings would burn off in a high temperature application, this ink was designed to address this problem. The ink can be used to track product life, identify a product for easy reorder, and create brand awareness. It can fire at up to 1650°C (3000°F). The water-based ink is non-toxic and non-flammable, with zero VOCs, and cleans up with water.
