FLSmidth recently announced that Christian Jepsen, group executive vice president of FLSmidth & Co. A/S since 2005, plans to resign his position by the end of July. An internal replacement is expected to take his place as head of the Bulk Materials Division.

Jepsen has been heading the group’s Minerals activities since 2007 and has worked for the FLSmidth Group since 1990. Jepsen successfully grew the Minerals business since the acquisition of GL&V Process and has played an instrumental role in defining the new strategy and the organizational structure to support the strategy.

“We regret that Christian Jepsen has decided to leave FLSmidth,” said Jørgen Huno Rasmussen, group CEO. “However, sometimes you just have to pursue the good opportunities, and we are pleased that Christian is joining one of our major customers, and we wish him all the best and a lot of continued success.”
