Asahi Glass Co. Ltd. (AGC) recently announced that, in light of the group’s recent financial results, it has revised the forecast of consolidated operating results, specifically net sales and operating income. The outlook for the first half of fiscal year 2012 predicted net sales of ¥600,000 million (~ $7,595 million) and operating income of ¥60,000 million (~ $759 million); the revised outlook calls for net sales of ¥580,000 million (~ $7,342 million) and operating income of ¥47,000 million (~ $594 million).
