Owens Corning recently announced it has been given a “Partners of Choice” award from David Weekley Homes, the third largest for-profit, privately held U.S. home builder. As the recipient of this recognition for the third consecutive year, Owens Corning achieved an “A” rating, representing world-class excellence in quality.

David Weekley Homes’ interactive feedback program is designed to measure, evaluate, compare, and rate 150 supplier’s quality and service performance on a quarterly basis as part of its National Trading Partner Survey. Ultimately, the National Trading Partner Survey is designed to challenge manufacturing partners to actively manage the supply chain to ensure everyone efficiently delivers high-quality products at competitive prices seamlessly to their customer.

“Owens Corning achieving an ‘A’ in quality for three consecutive years is a remarkable accomplishment,” said Bill Justus, vice president of Supply Chain Services for David Weekley Homes and chief architect behind the interactive evaluation program. “This is especially true when you consider the thousands of transactions that have occurred over this period between our companies. Our friends at Owens Corning have proven through their actions to be world-class at delivering quality products to our company.”
