Fiscal Cliff Crisis

A CNN/ORC International survey reportedly finds that two-thirds of people questioned say that the U.S. would face a crisis or major problems if the country went off the so-called fiscal cliff at the end of the year. Last week's CI CyberNews CyberPoll found that 44% of our readers do not think the U.S. will face a major crisis if the country goes off the "fiscal cliff" this year. On the other hand, 33% of respondents feel that major problems would occur, and the remaining 22% of readers are unsure.

Comments included:

"How much of this is hype? We need to start paying for what we use. The Bush tax cuts didn't solve our problems, maybe it is time to get rid if them. We also need to cut stop wasteful government spending in ALL programs, not just the ones that help the poor."

"We are already facing a crisis, 16 billion in debt and no sign of slowing down."
