CoorsTek aluminum nitride (AlN) ceramic substrates reportedly feature a very high dielectric strength, are a non-toxic alternative to beryllium oxide (BeO), and exhibit a thermal expansion coefficient similar to Si, GaN, and GaAs semiconductors.
