Serbian ceramic producer Kanjiza’s continuous investment in quality and new technological solutions has reportedly allowed it to become a key player in the domestic market. Looking to improve and extend its product range even further, the company decided to install a COLORA HD2 706 digital decorator produced by Intesa, a Sacmi subsidiary, capable of printing any type of design at speeds of up to 48 m/min.
Featuring five color bars, each with seven print heads, the COLORA HD2 can print any type of pattern at speeds of up to 48 m/min. Given the print width, which reaches 488 mm, the machine can also be used for large sizes and complex designs. The machine was installed and started up on a single-firing line that produces 1.5 million m2 of 400 x 400 and 300 x 300 tile per year.
A key part of this order was CRONO, the color management system produced by Intesa’s Imaging Division. Designed to be integrated with the Intesa COLORA HD2 digital decorator and COLORSCAN plotter, the CRONO system can provide output autonomy and flexibility, thus minimizing new product development times.
